This year’s Oban International Shanty Festival can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home.

The night of rip-roaring songs and music of the sea, which takes place on Saturday June 5, will feature a host of musicians from France, Italy, the Netherlands, England, and Scotland.

Artists attending this year’s online festival include: The Keelers | Les Brouilliers d’Ecoutes | Monkey’s Fist, Muldoon’s Picnic | The Silver Darlings | Key O’Sea | Hans Weehuizen | C*A*S*K | LocTup Together | Russ Claire | Alan Jones | and Oban’s very own scratch choir.

In addition to the concert in the evening, which will begin at 7.15pm, there will also be a series of free workshops in the afternoon. They will take place at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm and slots must be booked in advance.
